Payment options
Fees may change due to exchange rates fluctuations. Please contact one of our offices to confirm the passport fee, prior to lodging your application at our offices.
You should allow up to three weeks to receive a new passport from the date of lodgement, providing all the requirements have been met.
To avoid delays please ensure your guarantor is easily contactable by telephone during normal business hours.
The Australian High Commission in Wellington You will need to lodge your application in person at one of our offices. Payment must be provided at the time of your interview. We accept payment by Eftpos, Visa and Mastercard only. (credit or debit). Cash and cheques are not accepted.
The Australian Consulate General in Auckland accepts cheques made payable to the Australian Consulate General or the Australian Trade Commission. Eftpos is available when lodged in person only.
Please note money orders are not accepted at the Australian Consulate-General.
