Notarial Fees

Fees apply and are charged per act.

Fees charged for notarial services are set by the Consular Fees Act 1955 and the Consular Fees Regulations 2018 (Cth). Charging for notarial services is not discretionary, and fees are not negotiable or refundable.

The Australian High Commission in Wellington: Fees are payable by Visa or Mastercard in (AUD) only.

From 1 December 2024, the Australian Consulate-General (Auckland) will no longer be able to process cash payments for notarial services. All services will be payable via Eftpos or credit/debit card in New Zealand dollars (NZD).
